Taking a step away from his Trance roots, Dutchman Ferry Corsten is exploring his love of ambient, cinematic, and orchestral sounds with a new full-length feature.

The album, entitled “As Above So Below,” is produced under his new alias of FERR, and uses inspiration from artists such as Nils Frahm and Jon Hopkins

The record acts as an extension of Ferry’s ambient Stillpoint playlists he has been curating for a while now.

Below is a letter he penned to his fans:

This project is personal to Ferry, and admits he is “making music for me.”

The second and third singles, ‘Sehnsucht,’ a more cinematic and intense track building up throughout the whole record, and ‘When Thoughts Become You,’ a composition that features an elegant piano progression to put your mind at ease, can be heard here.

The first single, “Dark Water,” was released on March 13, 2020.

Album release date: March 27, 2020
